In 1892, Edison’s company merged with the Houston Electric Company, forming General Electric (GE). In 2018, GE Industrial Solutions was separated from GE due to corporate restructure. In 2019, part of its business evolved into GEIS, a focused spin-off dedicated to advancing the future of electrification.
